Fort Gaines: This is an old war fort that is really cool. For only $5/ person is a great way to spend a few hours for those people who are interested. And a plus, it is right on the island where we are staying! Mobile Bay Ferry: Available for Transport from the Island to the bay. If we want to use it sometime we will have to check their hours for sure. I think it is sometimes a little out of the way but it is another option. Battleship USS Alabama and USS Drum submarine: These are both just really cool. You get to tour the whole ship and submarine at your own pace and you get to go almost everywhere. I do not know if it is worth the money or not but I just wanted everyone to be aware that there are different activities to do in the area.
