    On Dauphin Island:

    Fort Gaines: This is an old war fort that is really cool. For only $5/ person is a great way to spend a few hours for those people who are interested. And a plus, it is right on the island where we are staying!

    Audubon Bird Sanctuary: I believe this is free; it is just a little woodsey area with a trail where you can go around and look at birds and such.

    Mobile Bay Ferry: Available for Transport from the Island to the bay. If we want to use it sometime we will have to check their hours for sure. I think it is sometimes a little out of the way but it is another option.
    One way ticket prices: $16.00 for car/truck and one driver
    $4.50 for each addition passenger per vehicle

    In Mobile:

    Battleship USS Alabama and USS Drum submarine: These are both just really cool. You get to tour the whole ship and submarine at your own pace and you get to go almost everywhere. Admission is $12/person but it is also worth it.

    Original Oyster House: If we go anywhere to eat, we should go here!!! The food is pretty awesome and it is right up the road from the USS Alabama so maybe we can go there after we visit that ship. My friend Cheryl swears they have the best seafood gumbo there is but I have never tried it. Remind me to call ahead so we can get a table for our large group!

    Exploreum Science Center: I was just looking at a list of cool things that are available in the area and this came up. I do not know if it is worth the money or not but I just wanted everyone to be aware that there are different activities to do in the area. This venue would probably be mostly for Kyler.
